Terms and Fair Use
These terms cover the rights and responsibilities attached to your LightXtreme VPN account, including registration, buying a subscription, using the client and the support that follows, and the wording stays straightforward on purpose so that how a plan is counted, when you can get money back, and what is permitted are all laid out clearly. Downloading, installing or using LightXtreme VPN means these terms are accepted.
1. Service overview
The service is cross-region network acceleration with privacy protection built in, and clients are provided for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Linux together with extensions for the usual browsers, while the network runs on more than 2,000 servers spread across 70+ countries and regions and the client lists the nodes you are able to select.
Trial and subscription
Your first download includes a 30-minute free trial, and everything after that works on a subscription basis where with any plan one account may keep 3 devices connected at the same time.
Available payment routes
You can pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe, and the subscription switches on as soon as payment succeeds while how long the money takes to settle follows the payment route you picked.
2. Refund rules
A 30-day money-back guarantee is in place, so within 30 days of activation you may ask for a refund from inside the client or by email and explain your usage, we will take it through, and once a refund is confirmed the plan ends, while subscriptions past 30 days or already used in proportion are not refundable except where the law requires it.
Credit for service outages
Should long connection failures trace back to our servers and you report them straight away, extending your subscription by some time is how we make good for it.
3. Acceptable usage
Using LightXtreme VPN means sticking to the laws and the network rules of your region, and never turning the service into a tool for anything unlawful, including but not limited to:
- attacking, intruding on or disrupting other networks or servers, or conducting fraud, phishing or other unlawful activity;
- bulk registering accounts, sharing or transferring them, or abusing trial and subscription resources through automation;
- transmitting illegal or harmful content, or infringing the intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights of others;
- using the service in a way that breaches the terms of the platform it is used on.
For accounts that ignore these points we may suspend access, switch off features, close the account, and where the conduct is serious we will involve the law.
4. Intellectual property
The client software, the pages on this website, the interface design, the icons and the word marks all carry LightXtreme VPN and its rights holders' intellectual property, and copying, changing, decompiling, redistributing or selling any of it needs written permission first, while the personal data you create while using the service in the proper way belongs to you.
Changes we may make
We revise features, node layout, plan prices and promotions from time to time and post every revision on this website, and should a revision touch the rights attached to a plan we give notice in advance, with customers who already paid keeping what they bought for the rest of their paid period.
Limits of liability
Within what the law permits, LightXtreme VPN is not accountable for disconnections or speed changes caused by force majeure, a broken carrier or a local policy shift, and remember that a VPN reroutes your traffic, so certain sites may still turn away VPN traffic because of their own risk controls.
