Privacy and Your Data

Here is the full picture of what LightXtreme VPN records when you use the website, the apps or a subscription, what each item is used for and how you keep control of it. The guiding rule is simple: take the least that works, keep it only while it is needed, and never pass it on for profit. Any change to this policy is announced on the website, not slipped in quietly.

1. What we pick up

Details about your account and plan

Opening an account or buying a plan means we record your email address, the order and the payment trail, the number of devices included and the date the plan ends, which is what we use to recognise you, turn the service on and support you later.

Connection logs on your device

So the connection stays solid and so faults can be investigated, the client keeps temporary connection logs holding the node identifier, the time of the session and any error codes involved. Those logs exclude your browsing content, your account password and your history, and they are never used to work out what you look at online.

Details from your visits

Opening the site brings us details such as browser, device model, language, referrer and time of visit, and we use them to count traffic and to keep the pages running well. A third-party statistics script may use a cookie to measure visits, and clearing or blocking cookies in your browser stops that whenever you prefer.

2. What it is used for

Everything collected serves a short list: activating and maintaining the subscription, carrying encrypted connections and protecting their quality, handling refunds and support requests, preventing abuse and fraud, and making the product and the website better.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising profiles or marketing lists, except where law requires it, where you authorise it directly, or where a payment you started cannot be completed without it.

3. Who else is involved

Payments are handled by providers such as Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe, and whatever you submit at checkout is processed by them under their own privacy rules. The client connects to servers we operate so the service can work, your data travels inside an encrypted tunnel, and those node operators never see which sites you load.

Encryption while data moves

Information on the move is protected with Shadowsocks, Vless and WireGuard encryption plus algorithms such as AES-256-GCM, and the account steps you take between website and client are encrypted over HTTPS as well.

4. Retention and your choices

Account and plan records are kept for the life of the service and for a limited window after it ends, covering support and compliance needs, while connection logs are dropped quickly once they have done their troubleshooting job. Contact the service email to request an export, a correction or the deletion of your personal information, and after an account is closed the related data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.

For younger customers

The service is built for adults. If you are below the age of majority in your country, please read this policy with a guardian and use the service only with their consent.

How updates work

We may adjust this policy as the product moves on, and each updated version is published here; continuing to use LightXtreme VPN means you accept the policy in force at the time.
